Distribution: Bulbine mesembreyanthemoides is found in Namaqualand and the little Karoo amongst white quartz patches.

Description: Bulbine m is a small succulent with 1-2 pale green, lemon-shaped, soft, watery and broadly striated leaves (5 - 10 mm broad).  The plant is below ground level.

Flower: 3 - 6 widely spaced yellow flowers appear on a stem that is 5 - 10 cm high.
