Distribution: Found from Namaqualand to Vanrhynsdorp to Sprinkbok in sandy soil. |

Description: A deciduous perennial geophyte (10 cm in height) with a corm. There is only a single, channelled linear basal leaf, the stem is branched and flattened, the edges are slightly twisted. |

Flower: The flowers (+-2 cm in diameter) are creamy to pink in colour with a red spot on the smaller, lower segments. |
