Distribution: Found from Namaqualand to Swellendam in shallow pockets on rockfaces. I found these in my rockery, the seeds must've been in the sand that I got from the Buffels Riverbed. |

Description: A deciduous perennial geophyte (10 cm in height) with a bulb. There are several green, opposite, linear basal leaves. |

Flower: The flowers (1 cm in diameter) are cup-shaped and orange or yellow in colour. The flower appears in September to October. |
