Distribution:  Tiras Mountains in Namibia

Description:  Hoodia ruschii can reach a height of 50 cm.  The green stems are irregularly angled (22-24).

Flower:  The flowers (40 mm in diameter) are reddish-brown in colour.    The corolla is yellow around the corona and is papillate.

Cultivation:  Full sun or light shade, little water.

Common names:  Queen of the Namib, African Hats.

Propagation:  Seeds and cuttings.
