  The Succulent Genus CrassulaThe genus Crassula contains between 250 and 300 species.  The plants are herbaceous or shrubby, they have succulent leaves that come in a variety of shapes and sizes.  The plants are highly adaptable and are found in habitats from deserts to wetlands.

The flowers are small and congested, they vary in colour from white or pink to scarlet

The small ornamental species from southern Africa are popular in collections.

Plants are found from southern Africa to tropical Africa.
